Tory chairman Kevin Hollinrake was commenting after nine people were left with life-threatening injuries after the attacks on Saturday evening.
Defence Secretary John Healey says the UK's terror threat level remains unchanged.
It's after a mass stabbing on a train in Cambridgeshire left nine people in a life-threatening condition.
Two arrests have been made and counter-terror police are involved in the investigation.
Conservative Party chairman Kevin Hollinrake says Saturday night's incident was 'shocking and devastating' - but people should go about their business as normal:
"Whatever the motivations, they are few and far between. Devastating when they happen, but we've got to carry on and you can't let these people win. They won't win.
"And there may be actions we need to take when we do find out what's happened, but for the moment, we've got to carry on."
