The annual beach run raised funds for Martin House Children's Hospice.
Members of Filey Lions have visited Martin House Children's Hospice this week to present them with a cheque for £1500.
the money was raised at the Lions 10K beach run in Filey last month.
Filey lions say:
"To those companies that sponsored us, volunteers who helped on the day and the runners who participated … THANK YOU !
Because of your commitment and generosity, today we were able to visit Martin House Children’s Hospice and present them with the money you helped raise, which is going towards the planned Serenity Garden …. .. £1,500.00 ..
Whilst there, we were invited on a walk round the grounds by Michelle (Regional Fundraiser N&E Yorkshire), during which she explained how the hospice operates and the planned modifications. "
