The event takes place next wednesday evening on Cargate Hill in Filey Town Centre.
Mike Gibson is the Head of Fundraising at Filey Lions.
He explains how the popular annual event works:
It's a well-oiled operation and Mike says there'll be no doubt which ball has won:
There are 3,000 balls this year, an increase on last year, to meet demand.
Balls are on sale at £1 each from the foyer at Tesco's in Filey from today onwards between 10 am and 6pm.
All the money that Filey Lions raises goes to charities and good causes in the area.
