The NHS say the take up of the vaccine in the county is good but that there has been a fall of in attendance over the last few days.
The number of people turning up for a COVID booster in North Yorkshire has dropped over the last two days.
The NHS in the county say 78 percent of people eligible for the jab have taken up the offer.
The county's Chief Nurse Sue Peckitt explains why they think fewer people are making an appointment.
Sue Peckitt says over 90% of the eligible population have now had a first dose of a COVID vaccine with take up of the second and third doses also strong.
The latest data shows that the COVID infection rate in the Scarborough Borough is increasing but is lagging behind bot the North Yorkshire rate and the All England Rate.
The borough's seven day average infection rate per 100,000 people stands at 352, while North Yorkshire's is 561 and the English average is 1006.
The figures suggest there are around 81,000 new cases in England each day with 496 in North Yorkshire and 55 in the Scarborough Borough.
