North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and Yorkshire Ambulance Service worked together to assist a casualty in Scarborough, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Fire crews from Scarborough responded to a male who had collapsed in bathroom against the door, at just before 1am, on Hoxton Road in the town.
Firefighters gained access to the bathroom and administered oxygen to the gentleman.
They then stayed with him until the arrival of ambulance crews.
