Scarborough RUFC suffered a derby defeat, at Silver Royd, on Saturday.
Matty Jones' men were defeated 17-5 by Malton and Norton in North East 2.
The defeat drops them to fourth and comes after another derby loss to Bridlington, last week.
Brid enjoyed a return to form, in the same division.
They're now level on points with Scarborough, in fifth, after a 30-0 hammering at Bradford & Bingley.
Whitby lost 31-10 to Bishop Auckland, at White Leys Road, in Durham & Northumberland 2.
