The food delivery company plans to launch in the town this year.
Scarborough is one of around 100 towns and cities across the UK that the company says it wants to launch services in in 2021.
The company says it's seen a surge in demand as customers stay home and restaurants shut their doors during the pandemic.
The full list of locations has not yet been announced but will include Scarborough.
Deliveroo currently operates in over 200 locations and said it will also expand its reach from these existing sites over the year.
Carlo Mocci, Deliveroo's chief business officer for UK and Ireland, said:
"We are pleased to announce that we expect to launch in around 100 new towns and cities across the UK and expand our reach in existing areas throughout 2021 with the aim of reaching almost two thirds of the population."
No exact launch date for the Scarborough service has been announced
