Whitby lost out again and Scarborough took the derby honours, on Monday.
Whitby were well beaten in North Yorkshire South Durham Division One.
They chose to bat first but were skittled for only 103 in 23 overs.
Theo Clarke made 28.
Tom Steyert then took two wickets and had hosts Bedale 23/2 at one stage but they got home by eight wickets, in the 15th over.
Filey chose to bat first, against Scarborough Seconds, but were bowled out for just 113 in the 28th over at North Marine Road, in YPN Division One East.
Brad Milburn starred with 4/22.
In reply, David Snowball top-scored with 43 as Scarborough reached their target in the 27th over, with five wickets remaining.
