Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington's rugby first teams have all postponed their matches scheduled for Saturday.
Scarborough were due to travel to Heath in Yorkshire 1 East, hoping to follow on from a dramatic second half fightback and victory against Moortown, a week earlier.
While Whitby were set to travel to Gateshead side Ryton keen to kickstart their Durham & Northumberland Division Two campaign.
Bridlington also called off their clash with Dinnington in Yorkshire One.
The Rugby Football Union gave clubs a choice to postpone their matches this weekend if they had any concerns over the new Covid variant.
