Scarborough Athletic are on a mission to get people back into watching football with a raft of new measures to encourage people to attend home games and a new live commentary service.
With just under two weeks until the start of the new season Scarborough Athletics' Chairman is urging the whole town to get behind the club for the new campaign.
Last season was abandoned due to the pandemic and Trevor Bull says the club is rolling out a raft of new measures to encourage local people to get back in to the habit of going to home games and show their support for the club.
Trevor says the preparations for the new campaign are going well.
Trevor has also announced that live commentary on Scarborough Athletic games will be available through a new partnership with This is the Coast.
The live match commentary's for both home and away games will be available via a new online radio station.
"This is the Coast Extra" will broadcast local news and interviews during the week and will provide live commentary on both midweek and weekend games for Scarborough Athletic. The new partnership was formed following an approach by the club. This is the Coast will provide technical systems for the broadcasts with commentary being provided by a team of dedicated Scarborough Athletic fans.
The first broadcast will be the trip to Basford United on August 14th.
