Councillors hear that an increase in Campervan visits over the summer has caused a number of issues in the Scarborough Borough but may also be an opportunity.
It seems to have been a bumper summer for camper vans visiting the Yorkshire coast.
And while that might be good for tourism business it's been causing concern for some local residents.
Speaking at a Borough Council meeting last week, Whitby Councillor -Glenn Goodbury - said there have been a number of problems.
Concerns were raised by councillors about rubbish being left behind and incidents of toilet waste being disposed of in public drains.
Councillor Tony Randerson is the cabinet member for X, he says there are problems but thinks it is a minority of Camper Van visitors casing the problems
Borough Councillor Guy Coulson is a camper van owner, he thinks the Scarborough Borough should do more to embrace camper vans.
Councillor Coulson thinks more facilities are needed to welcome the visitors.
