The Leader of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council says he's concerned that the government is going to place the burden of funding social care on local authorities.
Councillor's last week passed a motion calling on the government to look again at social care funding.
Councillor Jonathan Owen says he's concerned there could be pressure on council tax.
Last week's motion also calls on Councillors in the East Riding to continue lobbying local MP's to get he government to provide more funding for social care.
