Bridlington Health Forum is calling for more investment in the towns health services.
The Bridlington Health Forum is a group of volunteers representing local residents. They aim to offer listening ears and a voice to Bridlington and area residents who are concerned about local health care provision and seek to influence healthcare provision through the NHS and East Riding Council.
Chair of the group is Dr Alan Clarke and he is a retired GP.
Alan says the town has some specific health challenges
The group hosted a public forum on Saturday to allow local residents the opportunity to voice their views on the health services in the town.
Alan says that, although the new A&E department which is coming to Scarborough will benefit patients, more can be done to help the residents of Bridlington.
