Three incidents in 90 minutes saw crews from Malton and Robin Hood's Bay deployed in Scarborough last night.
The first call out at 9:25pm saw crews from Scarborough, Filey, and Sherburn respond to a fire in the top floor flat of a 4 storey property.
Crews isolated service to the property using small tools and extinguished the fire using 2 sets of breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.
Then at 10:13pm a call from Marine Drive in Scarborough saw Malton crews responded to a fire in the engine bay of a campervan.
The fire was out on the arrival of the crews, having been extinguished by the owner using a dry powder extinguisher.
Later at 10:42pm, Sherburn and Robin Hood’s Bay crews responded to reports of a sofa fire on the second floor or a 4 storey residential property in Scarborough. This was a false alarm with no fire found.
