Scarborough based Bronagh has been named England Captain for the competition.

Bronagh says it's great to have such a big event in the town.

teams from Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales compete over two days for both team and individual titles in a range of disciplines.

The team event consists of 16 players from each nation playing rinks across 4 mats with the combined score on all mats deciding the outcome of the match. The national winners from each country play in the singles, pairs, triples and fours events.

Bronagh Toleman says it's a big deal for the town to be hosting the event, she's hoping that local people will join the spectators cheering on the teams.
