Bridlington North has the lowest Covid rates in the East Riding, though the drop in work absences caused by the illness is reducing.
A further 3,260 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus across the East Riding in the seven days up to Sunday, January 30.
A total of 84,053 new coronavirus cases were recorded nationally on Friday, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 17,689,885, with 254 new deaths recorded, making a total of 157,984.
The figures come as NHS England data showed an average 28,434 at English hospital trusts were off work due to coronavirus in the week up to Sunday, January 30.
The average was lower than the previous week’s of 30,375 but higher than the 17,836 recorded in the seven days up to Sunday, December 19, suggesting a drop in absences may be slowing.
