Bridlington Round Table will be helping Santa Claus to make a special appearance at the Bridlington Ice Trail on November 15th and 16th. But they have a problem.... Santa currently lacks a suitable home for his festive visit!
In a heartfelt appeal to the local community, the Round Table has called for assistance in finding a special structure to transform into a magical Christmas grotto. The group emphasised that they are not looking for a typical garden shed. Instead, they require a “solid, secure, and big enough” structure, which could be envisioned as a temporary wooden cabin or kiosk, capable of creating an enchanting atmosphere for children and families.
“We need something that can be transformed and stand proudly on the market,” the Round Table stated in a post on social media, highlighting the importance of making Santa's visit memorable for the community.
The organization is reaching out to the residents of Bridlington with specific requests:
- They are asking if anyone owns a suitable wooden structure that could be borrowed for the weekend.
- Local businesses are invited to consider sponsoring the grotto for the event.
- Additionally, they are seeking contacts who might be able to help source or construct a grotto at no cost.
“Every Christmas needs a little magic, and we need your help to make Santa's visit happen!” the Round Table urged, encouraging community members to comment or send private messages if they can assist in creating a spectacular grotto for the Ice Trail weekend.
As the holiday season approaches, the Bridlington Round Table is hopeful that the community will come together to ensure that this Christmas in Bridlington is truly unforgettable.
