Bridlington Town Council's Bi-Annual Small Grants Presentations were awarded on Monday 2nd October with many local groups and organisations benefiting from a combined distributed amount of £5050.
Since 2009, Bridlington Town Council has awarded small grants to groups and community-based projects located in the Bridlington Parish area. Grant applications are considered in March and September each year the presentations of up to £500 are awarded in March and October, with many local groups and organisations benefiting from a contribution from the Town Council's small grants.
The grants can be used for
- Capital cost of new or improved facilities or equipment;
- Providing a community service;
- Initial funding for new activities
- Running costs and organisation of events
Small Grants will next be considered in March 2024 and any organisation wishing to apply should ensure that completed forms are submitted to the Town Council offices by the 18th February 2024.
