Scarborough Athletic lost 2-0 away at Alfreton Town last night in what Jono Greening described as a "poor" performance.
Boro had early chances with a shot from Luca Colville going over the bar and a Michael Coulson header missing the target.
Scarborough were struggling to deal with the pace of Alfreton's pace and long balls but Joe Cracknell made some terrific saves to keep the score 0-0 at half time.
Two goals for the home side early in the 2nd half killed the game for Boro, who never threatened the Alfreton goal, apart from a Michael Coulson shot.
The Boro management team were frustrated at some of the time wasting from the home side's keeper during the 2nd half especially.
Scarborough have the chane to make amends with a home game this Saturday against Spennymore Town.
