Scarborough Athletic lost ground on the National North leaders after a second defeat in a row.
Jono Greening's men lost 5-2 at home to leaders Darlington, last Monday, and were beaten 2-0 at Hereford on Saturday, leaving them five points behind the Quakers, in sixth spot.
Boro went behind early on and their afternoon was made harder when skipper Michael Coulson limped off on the half hour.
They conceded again seconds into the second half and never recovered.
