A depleted Whitby Town side were heavily beaten by lower league opponents on Saturday.
Missing six players, the Seasiders lost 5-1 at Redcar Athletic.
The Northern League First Division side led with two goals in the last ten minutes of the first half.
They made it 3-0 early in the second half, but Nathan Thomas pulled one back for Town.
Athletic, led by former Blue Brad Fewster, who scored a hat-trick, notched two more late on.
