Whitby Town had to settle for a draw at FC United of Manchester, on Saturday.
The Blues led inside six minutes when Brad Fewster set up Lewis Hawkins to find the net.
Fewster missed a golden chance to head home a second and the hosts hit the underside of the crossbar as they somehow failed to equalise before the break.
A crazy period of three goals in less than two minutes came just after the hour mark.
First, United levelled from the penalty spot then Town raced to the other end where Fewster followed up after his initial shot was saved for 2-1. The Red Rebels then replied seconds later through a deflected effort for 2-2.
