Whitby Town welcome Preston side Bamber Bridge to the Towbar Express Stadium, on Saturday.
Town won 2-0 in the corresponding fixture, last season, but lost 3-2 away in Lancashire.
The Blues had a decent pre-season with four wins, two losses and a draw.
It looks like a season of transition as Whitby bid farewell to Jerome Greaves, Jacob Gratton, Coleby Shepherd, Adam Gell, Harrison Beeden, Brad Fewster, Junior Mondal and skipper Danny Rowe.
In come young defenders Mitch Parkinson, Sam Collins and Frankie Whelan, alongside veteran centre-back Gary Liddle and new captain, the returning Jassem Sukar, who spoke to Whitby Town TV on Friday:
Ex-Scarborough striker Jake Charles has also arrived.
Kick-off on Saturday is 3pm and if you really can't make the game, there's full commentary on This is The Coast Extra from just before 3.
