Bathing water samples have been taken at Bridlington South Beach this week.
The Environment Agency officers were present to monitor and assess the quality of the bathing water at the beach.
Claire Campbell who's Yorkshire Bathing Water Technical Lead at the Environment Agency says that the samples taken form an average which is from a four year cycle.
The Agency is taking samples throughout the season from 19 different locations across Yorkshire.
Claire Campbell says that the samples will help them to decide how safe the bathing water is.
