The Scarborough Skipper taking part in the Golden Globe round the world yacht race says he has something of a Barnacle problem.
Guy Waites is currently in 11th place trailing the leader - Simon Curwin - by over 1,300 nautical miles.
Guy says his boat, the Sagamartha, has picked up a few unwanted hitch-hikers.
Britain's Simon Curwen is the current race leader. Simon doesn't have the fastest boat but took the lead in Cape Finisterre on September 9th and has held it ever since
Guy is sailing solo in his boat the Sagarmatha, with no modern navigation kit.
Guy says he is now some way adrift of the race leaders.
The Golden Globe Race started in France in September, 13 competitors remain in the race which is expected to finish in June next year.
Guy's video footage from the early stages of the race has been released, showing life on board the Sagamarth in the early days of the race.
