A fundraising appeal has been launched to replace tools stolen from Bridlington Town FC.
The tools belonged to the club's Vice Chairman, who the club say "works tirelessly to improve our club" and "was currently upgrading the fence around the turnstile".
The theft of the equipment has brought the Vice Chairman's work to a standstill. In response, supporters are organising the fundraiser and reaching out for community support.
The appeal states:
"Without these tools the investment of hard labour has come to a standstill so I reach out to ask for a little help to purchase equipment stolen in the early hours of this morning.
Please help donate £1, £5, £10 or £20
Every little helps this is appreciated and we thank you for your support."
The appeal is hoping to raise £1500 to replace the tools, there are more details at
