A range of accessible sports and activities are available to try in Scarborough Today.
Scarborough Disability Action Group are holding their "Treats" taster day at the Street.
Manager - Tim Vasey - says they are hoping more people will take up the activities.
Treats is a scheme for local people, its aim is to offer activities which will help people meet new friends and try out new activities. Instructors design sessions to meet the needs of all ability ranges.
The Treats taster day will be held on Tuesday 16th may from 12pm until 3pm at the Street in Scarborough.
Chair-a-cise, Table Tennis, Singing, Zumba and Kurling are just some of the accessible activities on offer at the special taster day event.
Tim says they want to enable more people to be able to take part in the activities on offer.
Tim says today's event is a drop in event and no booking is needed
Events will run at the following times
- 12pm-12:30pm Chair-a-cise
- 1pm-2pm Singing
- 2:15pm Zumba
Tim says that no prior experience is needed to take part in the events.
Tea and biscuits will be available as well and the opportunity to chat to session leaders.
