More than 42,000 people have now received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine in Scarborough, new figures have revealed.
The NHS has released figures showing that in the period up to February 28 42,867 people in the borough were vaccinated.

The data include vaccinations administered in hospital hubs, local vaccination service sites such as GP practices and at vaccination centres.
The news comes as Scarborough’s infection rate has fallen into the low 30s.

The borough is now averaging five new cases every day.
