A rare sight greeted Scarborough residents on Saturday morning.
A large walrus has been found on Scarborough beach early on Saturday.
Experts believe the animal is 'Thor' who has been sighted on the south coast and in France.
Experts have been observing the animal who arrived around 10.30pm on Friday.
Crowds arrived before 9am on Saturday, anyone visiting the area is asked to stay quiet to avoid disturbing the mammal.
