The Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team were called out on Saturday.
A ten year old boy was rescued from the Bridestones on Saturday evening after he sustained a back injury on the path running down from Bridestones.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service requested the assistance of the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.
Thirteen team members and two team vehicles were deployed. Once on scene and suitably equipped with PPE to protect against COVID-19 they transferred him to a team vacuum mattress, casualty bag and bell stretcher before carrying him to the waiting ambulance.
Following personal decontamination on scene the team then returned to base to clean and pack equipment ready for the next job.
The team were deployed for two and a half hours.
