Usain Bolt set to play Sunday league football for Manchester side

Former sprint star Usain Bolt is registered to play for a Sunday league team in Manchester, with the Olympic champion set to make another foray into football.

Bolt, who still holds the world records for the 100m and 200m, has appeared on the squad list for Wythenshawe FC Veterans over-35s on the Football Association Full-Time website.

The team play in the Cheshire Veterans League, and feature a side made up of former top-level professionals.

Managed by former Manchester City and Republic of Ireland midfielder Stephen Ireland, the line-up also includes Danny Drinkwater, Antonio Valencia, Joleon Lescott, Emile Heskey, Marc Albrighton and Papiss Cisse.
