An 11-year-old cyclist has died after a crash involving a bus and a car in Derby.
The boy suffered serious injuries after the collision in Nottingham Road just before 6.45pm on Friday.
He was taken to hospital where he died, Derbyshire Police said.
The force said the crash involved a bus, a car and a cyclist.
"The cyclist, an 11-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries and died in hospital," a statement said.
"His family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers. Our thoughts are with them at this time."
No arrests have been made and detectives investigating the crash are appealing for drivers with dashcam footage to come forward.
