Homelessness charity SASH says it supports around 300 young people each year.
Youth homelessness remains an issue in the Scarborough Borough.
That's according to homelessness charity SASH.
They provide services to help 16-25 year olds who are facing not having anywhere to live.
Linsey Trower from SASH says the demand for their services is high.
SASH says it is continuing to see around 300 young people needing to make use of it's services every year.
The Charity says Scarborough is a particular area of concern.
Linsey they provide a couple of different services in the Scarborough Borough.
Linsey says the services they provide wouldn't be possible without the hosts who provide a place to live for the young people.
The group are organising a fundraising event in May which will highlight some of the challenges faced by people who don't have a roof over their heads. The SASH sleep-out will take place at Stepney Hill Farm on Friday May 6th.
More information about the event and the sign up form can be found on the SASH Website at https://www.sash-uk.org.uk/get-involved/sash-scarborough-sleepout-2022/
