Yorkshire Coast Rugby Also Hit By Freeze

The freezing conditions didn't just hit our local footballers, with the rugby union programme also decimated.

All three of our local sides were due to play at home on Saturday but all three suffered frozen pitches.

Scarborough and Bridlington are neck and neck at the top end of North East 2.

Boro were due to host Leeds side Morley at Silver Royd, only for the pitch to freeze.

Brid were scheduled to entertain Dronfield from near Sheffield.

Whitby also saw their clash called off, in Durham & Northumberland Division Two.

They were set to take on North Shields.
