Mead also had a goal assist in what was the only and defining goal for Arsenal against Barcelona on Saturday.
Beth Mead, born and schooled in Whitby, can now add Champions League winner to her long list of honours after Arsenal beat Barcelona in the Women's Champions League Final in Lisbon.
Mead played a stunning pass to substitute Stina Blacksteniu, who scored what proved to be the winning goal to give Arsenal the title.
Beth, from Hinderwell on the Yorkshire Coast, has won a number of domestic league and cup titles and in 2022 was named Player Of The Tournament at the European Championships, taking the Golden Boot too and being given the accolade of having the most assists.
England famously won that tournament.
After that high, Beth then suffered a serious injury but is now back enjoying her football again.
During her recovery, and before Scarborough Borough Council was merged into the new North Yorkshire Council, Beth was given the Freedom Of Scarborough in what was the council's last-ever meeting at Scarborough Town Hall.
