The Blues take on Ilkeston at the Towbar Express Stadium on Saturday.
After missing last week's trip to Cleethorpes due to a waterlogged pitch, Whitby are back at home two weeks after the 3-0 loss to Leek in NPL Premier.
The Blues host Ilkeston in their last home clash before the festive season.
Player-boss Gary Liddle is hoping to have midfielder Michael Woods and defender Frankie Whelan fit and available.
He will not be taking Saturday's visitors lightly either, despite their poor recent form:
"Yeah, as I think they've gone through the last three or four having lost them, but they've been close games. I think every game in this league or any opposition you come up against, they're always tight games. And as it is, Ilkeston have found themselves are on the wrong side of those results at the moment.
"But they're a good team. They've been a good team throughout the years within this division and always found themselves within that top half and looking towards those playoff places. And I think it's just a reflection of the league. You, you find teams like your Leeks. I know they've just beat us, but they've been on a decent run.
"Before us and now after us as well. And your Hebburns. Teams like that. Morpeth have been on a good run and after a difficult start of the season, they're picking up points and it's just making sure that you prepare well for each game."
There's more from Liddle on this week's Codcast.
Kick-off is 3.00pm.
