After Tuesday's 3-1 loss at FC United of Manchester, Whitby were well beaten in the North West again on Saturday.
The Blues fell behind on 12 minutes with hosts Hyde doubling their advantage ten minutes later.
Matty Tymon gave the visitors hope as he pulled one back, six minutes before half-time. Sub Harley Dawson pulled back a floated free-kick for Tymon to turn home his third goal of the season.
After the interval, Hyde added a fourth from the penalty spot, 11 minutes into the restart, after a tangle of legs with Alex Nelson in the box was penalised.
Donald Chimalilo gave the Blues hope with his third goal in as many games, on the hour, but Hyde's fifth ended the contest, 18 minutes from time.
