Whitby Town Stop Rot With Hard-Fought Draw

Blues boss Nathan Haslam saluted both goalkeepers after a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Workington on Saturday.

The Seasiders were again without suspended striker Junior Mondal and again failed to score despite the hosts having a man sent off.

Keeper Shane Bland was on top form as well as his opposite number for the Cumbrians as Haslam told Whitby Town TV:

The Blues travel to Northallerton Town on Tuesday in the North Riding Senior Cup, a win raises the chances of a trip to Scarborough Athletic in the semi-finals.
