The bank holiday fixtures have pitted Town against the top two teams in the table, as Whitby attempt to get their first points on the board.
Whitby Town are at home against Stafford Rangers this afternoon with Town still looking for their first point of the season.
Manager Lee Bullock told Whitby Town TV that there are lessons to be learned from Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Guiseley.
Lee Bullock says he's confident the points will come if they can stop making mistakes.
Whitby go into Saturday's game at the foot of the Northern Premier League and as the only club yet to muster a point.
Stafford Rangers are currently second in the table on 10 points, the same total as top of the table Marske United, who Whitby will face, at Marske, on Monday.
