Whitby Town have announced the signing of experienced goalkeeper Jack Norton, marking his third spell at the Towbar Express Stadium ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Whitby Town have completed the signing of the experienced goalkeeper Jack Norton, as the Seasiders continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Middlesbrough-born shot-stopper returns to the Towbar Express Stadium for a third spell with the club, bringing with him a wealth of experience from across the non-league game.
Norton first represented Whitby Town during the 2006/07 campaign and later returned to the club for a second stint during the 2018/19 season.
He now rejoins the club once again, adding valuable experience, leadership, and familiarity to Lee Bullock's squad.
Having spent many years playing at the non-league level, Norton is expected to provide essential support both on the pitch and in the dressing room as Whitby prepare for the new campaign.
His return is likely to be welcomed by the supporters, with the goalkeeper well known to many around the club following his previous spells wearing blue.
Speaking after sealing his return, Jack Norton said:
"Whitby was always a club that I was fond of and I enjoyed my time there. Coming back was a no brainer.
I had other offers on the table but speaking to Lee (Bullock), my decision was made as soon as I came off the phone. It was an easy one."
