Whitby Roadworks Continue to Cause Problems

Severe road delays in Whitby look set to continue until Christmas

.Work on Fairfield Way and Staines Acre Lane have been causing issues for a number of weeks.

Local Councillor Neil Swannick says he's been given an update by highways officers.

Councillor Neil Swannick says the traffic problems around Whitby's roadworks are being tackled.

He's raised issues around the Fairfield Way and Staines Acre Lane works with highways officers.

Councillor Swannick says he's been told the works will continue until Christmas but that steps are being taken to ease the pain for drivers.
