Whitby residents have been invited to have their say on a long-term plan for the town.
Whitby Town Council are looking for comments on a neighbourhood plan for the future of the area.
It involves shaping things like housing and transport for the next two decades.
Here's Councillor Anne Brown from Whitby Town Council:
The council has established a dedicated Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group, which includes representatives from the Whitby Community Network, Green Lane Community Connections, and with support from other local groups with a focus on nature and the environment.
The council says that the collaborative approach will ensure the plan reflects the "diverse needs and aspirations of the Whitby community".
The Steering Group has been gathering feedback from a wide range of individuals and groups across the parish of Whitby.
