Whitby Town beat Bamber Bridge 2-0 to go within four points of the NPL Premier play-off places.
Blues boss Nathan Haslam called it a "brilliant three points" after a 2-0 success as Whitby played their first home NPL Premier outing since September.
A combination of a long FA Cup run and bad weather had resulted in over seven weeks since the win over Marske on September 26th.
Jacob Gratton netted from the penalty spot on 25 minutes and his fellow former Belper man Jerome Greaves made sure a minute from the end.
Haslam told Whitby Town TV the groundsman and volunteers deserve a lot of credit:
Whitby are back in action with a tough trip to leaders Radcliffe on Tuesday night with a 7.45pm kick-off.
