Scarborough Community Fair is taking place today for the first time in two years.
The event on Westborough will see around 40 local organisations come together for a day showcasing some of the areas community groups.
Mike Wilkinson from The Scarborough Cavaliers Rotary club says it's great to have the event back on.
The event takes place from 10.00am along Westborough.
This year the Rotary Club are also looking to build on the success of previous years, thanks to the support of the Yorkshire Coast BID by providing street entertainment as an added bonus for shoppers.
The Jelly Roll Jazz band will be playing between 11.00am to 1.00pm at the junction of Aberdeen Walk and Westborough.
The Mayor, Councillor Eric Broadbent has been invited to officially open the Fair, together with judging the “best dressed stall”, which gives the stallholders the opportunity to be creative and inventive with their table displays.
Mike Wilkinson says the day is about showcasing the areas community organisations and having some fun.
This is the Coast will be broadcasting from the event.
