Officers in Whitby and Scarborough were called out on Thursday night and the early hours of Friday morning.
Just after 9.30pm on Thursday, firefighters in Scarborough were called to extinguish a bin fire on Marine Drive.
They carried out the task, using a single hose reel jet.
Then just before 4am, fire crew from Whitby were called to Helredale Gardens.
They assisted paramedics by transporting a casualty from a building and into a waiting ambulance.
