North Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal for information following the theft of tools from a breakdown van in Scarborough.
The incident is believed to have occurred in the early hours of 26 April 2025 on Murchison Street, where two individuals reportedly broke into an RAC van and stole a number of tools.
Authorities are urging residents in the area to check any available CCTV or video doorbell footage that might assist in identifying the suspects. According to the police, the individuals were dressed in grey or dark hoodies with their hoods up, joggers, and trainers.
PC Emily Henderson, who is leading the investigation, has called on members of the public to come forward with any relevant information. “If you have a video doorbell and live around this area, please check for any footage from around the time of the theft,” she said.
