A new time lapse video captures the building of the new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre at Scarborough Hospital.
The new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre is set to open its doors in Spring 2024, bringing much needed extra space to Scarborough Hospital.
The video from the York and Scarborough Hospital trust shows progress on the construction site from the moment ground was broken until April 2023.
The trust say:
"This time lapse showcases the dedication and hard work that has gone into providing access to the highest standards of care, as close to home as possible, for our patients on the East Coast.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has poured their expertise into this project. Their tireless efforts have ensured that Scarborough will soon have a facility to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our growing population."
