Thornton's Sweet Leveller as Boro Hold Highflyers

Will Thornton popped up in a crowded Chester box to rescue a late point for the Seadogs in the North West.

Another defender, the versatile Kieran Weledji, made it 1-1 on 76 minutes after Boro had fallen behind at the Deva Stadium.

Third-placed Chester then made it 2-1 before Thornton made his crucial contribution three minutes into injury time.
