Here are the very latest temperatures along the Yorkshire Coast from Whtby to Bridlington.
Mid morning temperatures are already into the 30's along the Yorkshire Coast on a day when the UK's highest recorded temperature looks set to be smashed by several degrees celcius.
The warmest spot on the Yorkshire Coast is currently Whitby at 32C. Scarborough is showing 30C, Filey 28C and Bridlington 24C.
Yesterday a south easterly breeze blowing off the sea kept Bridlington a little cooler than the rest of the coastline. With Whitby's north-facing position sheltering it from the breeze, temperatures hit the mid 30's in the town yesterday and looks set to rise higher today.
Yesterday saw Yorkshire record its highest ever recorded temperature of 36.7C at Bramham.
