A ten year old girl from Scarborough is selling giant Yorkshire puddings to help raise funds to buy Christmas dinner for needy people in the town.
It's the second year that Lil has put on her chef's hat for the event.
And this year she's being helped by Taylor's Bar and Cafe who have been selling some of her creations.
Lil says it's a rewarding project.
Lil says:
"Last year i decided to help families that were struggling to celebrate Christmas by providing everything they needed for the day, food, gifts and gas/electric bills. It was such a great experience delivering Christmas to 14 local families, with so much support from people in our community. So much so that I've decided to do it again!!!!
This year I want to support more families and will be fundraising once again to buy families in need of a cheer up everything they need for their Christmas Dinner. I will buy and deliver the meal myself using the money I raise. To start the fundraising off I will be doing jobs for my mum and dad and selling my bakes at local Christmas fayres and selling my legendary homemade GIANT Yorkshire Puddings"
Lil's dad, Graham, says they are looking for local people to suggest who should receive a festive treat.
Lil has a donations page at https://localgiving.org/appeal/Skillswithlilsdonateschristmas2023 to help raise funds for the Christmas dinners.
There is also an Online Nominations Form where you can nominate a family or individual to receive one of the Christmas dinners.
Lils is also still taking orders for her giant Yorkshire Puddings through her Facebook page.
